Over the years Robert Abbasi has established himself within the southern California community of business professionals, gaining and giving advice to bank executives, attorneys, property managers, brokers and investors alike, in the same manner that he asked for and received the same advice when he was coming up. Robert Abbasi was able to survive through shrewd and disciplined management of his holdings, and was able to even further his personal and professional wealth – this more than anything solidified Robert Abbasi’s career. In the mid-80s, Robert Abbasi founded RTI Properties, Inc. Robert Abbasi, by then a well-respected and experienced veteran within the real estate and commercial real estate industry, had finally struck out on his own. Even before establishing his own niche domain within the industry, Robert Abbasi had already shown an ambition and uncompromising desire to succeed as an undergrad. First obtaining an undergraduate degree in Economics at USC, he continued his promising career by remaining at USC and obtaining an MBA from the Gordon Marshall School of Business, graduating with no less than honors. Not long after graduating, Robert Abbasi jumped right into the world of Robert Abbasi commercial real estate, paying his dues as a commercial real estate investment advisor, making a name for himself by securing over $300,000,000 in contractual transactions. While also heading RTI Property Management as President, Robert Abbasi lent his expertise by serving on the Board of Directors of Western Commercial Bank in Los Angeles, a bank
which he also helped found; he also has found time to serve on the Loan / ALCO Committees. Robert Abbasi’s experience, knowledge, and insight within the arena of real estate; Robert Abbasi has over 30 years in the industry, and the connections established and the trust of relationships established over this time period alone are worth more than their weight in gold. Robert Abbasi began gaining experience and establishing his roots within the Los Angeles real estate scene at The Hanes Company, where he cut his teeth marketing and selling a wide variety of different commercial real estate properties. Establishing his professionalism, he was made assistant manager for Hanes’ south bay regional office, rising to the rank of senior trainer.
